BENEATH A SUDDEN SKY, 2019
This project that began during a Visiting Fellowship at Harvard University, developed around a found object - an abandoned toy. Evoking conflicting sentiments pertaining to notions of home, childhood, familiarity, and estrangement, the object was used to prompt students to share their responses to similar objects through any medium of their choice. A range of these responses have been compiled into a short booklet with the intention of extending the project to further explore the web of conceptual ideas they have generated, ultimately loosening the defined physical status of the object itself.
